Generously listed at 5’11” 185 lbs. he definitely looks to be much smaller but is a tenacious puck seeking missile and knows how to get himself into the open areas for scoring chances.
He’s showing off his skills quickly. In his first three AHL games he already has 5 points and en route to a three-game point streak, including two multi point efforts.
The 21-year old notched an assist in his debut and followed it up with a pair of goals and then another tally and helper in his third appearance.
Where this hot start leads the future rookie will be interesting to monitor, but a smart forward thinking team is probably making inroads to get him under contract for the 2013/2014 campaign.
