It looked like San Jose Sharks‘ 6th round pick in the 2009 draft (#177 overall), center Tommy Wingels(17) was going to be playing full-time in the NHL from his strong training camp and preseason play but three games into the season with only 1 assist to his credit, he was reassigned to their AHL affiliate, Worcester Sharks, where he played well for 69 games (17 goals, 16 assists).
In 5 games with Worcester he has a couple of assists but is playing some pretty good overall hockey.
